Appendix I-3. User's guide to the NIST
Virtual Cement and Concrete Testing Laboratory (VCCTL) - Version 1.1

This appendix contains a manual for using version 1.1 of VCCTL, a user-friendly software package that models cement hydration and microstructure development for portland cement pastes, as well as predicting some concrete properties.

This software package is a public domain product of the U.S. government, and as such is available free of charge. If it is desired to incorporate this software into a commercial package, this software must be credited properly as a product of NIST. In addition, it is illegal to use NIST's name in advertising. For example, it is illegal to claim that a commercial software package is "NIST-approved" just because the commercial package incorporates a version of the VCCTL. Another example would be claiming a special relation with NIST just because the company is using a version of the VCCTL. This conditions apply to all NIST software, not just the VCCTL.
