Since the Powers spacing equation is an estimate of some large percentile of the paste-void spacing distribution, it is only included in the measurements of the 95 th percentile in Table 2. It is purely coincidental that for monosized spheres, the Powers equation is a good approximation of the paste-void spacing 95 th percentile. Throughout the entire experiment, the error is never more than 22% for the 95 th percentile.
